Friday Fun: The Dawn of a New Age in Grocery Shopping

I’m a big believer in finding ways to save time. My friend and colleague Jason Womack even convinced me to start using Dragon NaturallySpeaking because it can save slivers of time, depending on the situation.

However, when I read this article about IBM attacking the age old problem of “paper or plastic” it seemed to me we’re taking our eye off the ball! At a time when people are concerned if they can afford to drive to the grocery store or buy the products within, I just haven’t heard much complaining about the “unnecessary inconvenience for both the customer and the cashier” this newly approved patent addresses.
